Website Redesign

Case Study: Website Redesign for a Resource Management Company

Client

Our client is an IT asset disposition and reverses logistics programs servicing company whose services include designing global, turnkey IT, Lab, Test, and Medical equipment disposition solutions. They offer an end-to-end solution ranging from onsite decommissioning, a chain of custody reporting, and profitable value recovery outcomes in a secure, compliant, and transparent way. They help their clients maximize the return on their retired/surplus assets, mitigate risk, protect their brands, and demonstrate corporate social responsibility and a commitment to environmental safety.

Problem

The company wanted to make its online interactions better and it wanted to start making its website more visually pleasing and user-friendly. They wanted to make sure that they are able to convey the message they are saying and be able to get their business and services out to a wider audience – and allow visitors to contact them wherever they may be on the site.

Solution

They initially had a working site with all the necessary information about their company and the services they offer but wanted a fresh new look and introduce a home page where everything can easily be accessible. The solution was to incorporate the wheel system where visitors can get from one point to another and still be able to get back to the main/initial access point they were without opting to click on the return button on their browser.

It is also a fact that in the servicing industry, quotations are very important and it was ensured that there is a contact form available at the end of every page for ease of access and better communication processes.

Our team implemented a custom WordPress site with page templates and theming using Elementor, based on the company’s branding.

We implemented a unique navigation component, based on their needs, as well as pages for different services and industries, based on content from their customer presentation slide deck.  Along with various visual effects and specialized form elements to improve the overall user experience.

During the whole process, we consulted closely with various stakeholders at DRM to review the site and revise it based on their feedback until the final product exactly matched their needs.

Result

Our client was very pleased with how their website turned out – especially how we were able to implement the main menu feature to work the way they expected and envisioned it to be. In line with this, they also had commissioned to incorporate a portal accessible through their company site.
